We speak French, which is our mother tongue. We also speak English and Italian. Cédric also speaks a little Portuguese.

How would you like the relationship between you and your surrogate?

We hope to stay in touch with our surrogate and his family. If they wish, we would be delighted to share photos of our child and family with them. We imagine that this family will be like a distant family for us, living in Canada. We would also be delighted to welcome them to the South of France if they ever wish to visit the region.

What kind of character do you have? 

Alexandre is kind, generous, hypersensitive, and caring. At the same time, he can be determined, particular, and often finds himself under significant stress.

Cédric is deeply kind—sometimes to a fault—and incredibly devoted to those he loves. On the flip side, he can be reserved, persistent, frequently distracted, and occasionally disorganized..

Talk about your hobbies and lifestyle. 

In general, outside of work, we try to do as much as possible together, as we don’t like being apart.

We work out together, focusing on fitness, yoga, and boxing. We enjoy exercising early in the morning before starting our day, so we’re usually at the gym by 7 o’clock.

In our free time, we like to take walks with our dog, watch TV series and films, go shopping, spend time with friends, and have dinner with family. Occasionally, we visit exhibitions in different museums, whether in our town or while traveling.

With July, Cédric’s daughter, we love going to the movies, building Lego, and doing hands-on activities like drawing or baking.

Alexandre, for his part, enjoys reading novels, biographies, and beautiful books about design, art, or travel, as well as fashion and decoration magazines. He also has a passion for books on personal development. Alexandre listens to a lot of music, particularly French pop, and stays culturally engaged. He also takes care of decorating the apartment.

Cédric, on the other hand, enjoys drawing, mixing music, and collecting vinyl records. He has a particular love for international pop and is a big fan of Michael Jackson, whom he was lucky enough to meet in Cannes. He also trained in photography.

We both share a love of fashion and occasionally organize garage sales to give our clothes a second life.

Due to our respective jobs, we don’t currently have many opportunities to travel, but we try to do so as much as possible with July, especially within Europe (Paris, London, Copenhagen, Porto, Rome, Barcelona...). Fortunately, we’re lucky to live close to the sea and just an hour’s drive from the mountains and ski slopes. We take advantage of this to recharge: Cédric and July enjoy skiing, while Alexandre has fun playing in the snow with Snow, our dog!

What is your stance on pregnancy termination? 

We'd like to make the decision, preferably in agreement with our surrogate.

Could you please write a short bio about you/yourselves?

Cédric was born on April 13, 1978, in Cagnes-sur-Mer. He manages a campsite and hotel in Villeneuve-Loubet. He has a daughter, July, born on May 8, 2008, from his first marriage.

Alexandre was born on July 5, 1988, in Nice. After working in digital marketing for 10 years, he decided to make a career change. He is now a self-employed interior designer. He is also a content creator on social media and supports Cédric in managing his tourist establishment. Cédric is his first love.

We met on December 24, 2016, at our hairdresser-barber shop called "One Love." We became a couple on January 28, 2017, and quickly moved into our first apartment together. In 2019, we adopted Snow, our Samoyed, who is an absolute sweetheart. In 2020, we moved to Cagnes-sur-Mer, and on September 16, 2021, we got married. As a special touch to our love story, the mirror from the hairdresser's shop where we first met now hangs in our bedroom.

July lives with us most of the time. Alexandre met her when she was 8, and they consider each other father and daughter.

Our family is very important to us. Cathy and Georges are Alexandre's parents. Marcel is Cédric's father, and Dina is his stepmother. Martine, Cédric's mother, passed away from cancer in 2013, and Alexandre sadly never had the honor of meeting her. Cédric is an only child, while Alexandre has an older brother, Michel, who is 11 years his senior. Michel has been married to Magali, his first love, for over 20 years. They have two children: Maxence, born in 2007, and Mattia, born in 2016. Alexandre is Mattia's godfather. We adore our nephews and welcome them to our home every summer to enjoy time together.

We also have wonderful friends, most of whom have children, and we love spending time with them and traveling together! Cédric is godfather to Emma, his best friend's daughter. Alexandre is also godfather to Gérard, his little cousin, and Maé, the son of his best friend.

Together, we form a big, beautiful family that we are incredibly proud of. We can’t wait to expand this family with you and, of course, with our future child.
